About the Wine

TASTING NOTES

The Prisoner Red Blend
Inspired by the wines first made by the Italian immigrants who originally settled in Napa Valley. The Prisoner is now the most recognized red blend, leading the resurgence of interesting blends by incorporating Zinfandel with the unlikely mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Charbono.

The Prisoner Cabernet Sauvignon
Made in the same iconic style as The Prisoner Red Blend, The Prisoner Cabernet Sauvignon boasts an intricate blackberry, currant, and plum bouquet intertwined with dried, crushed herbs and licorice. On the palate, it opens up with cedar, vanilla, nutmeg, and toasted coconut, complementing the rich notes of plum and dried blackberries. The result is a lush and full mouthfeel that culminates in a lengthy, balanced finish.
