2022 THE PRISONER RED BLEND CALIFORNIA
The Prisoner Red Blend was inspired by the wines first made by the Italian immigrants who originally settled in Napa Valley. The Prisoner is now the most recognized red blend, leading the resurgence of interesting blends by incorporating Zinfandel with the unlikely mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Charbono. Bright aromas of ripe raspberry, vanilla, and coconut give way to flavors of fresh and dried blackberry, pomegranate, and vanilla, which linger harmoniously for a smooth and luscious finish.
2022 SOLDER GSM NAPA VALLEY
Solder, our new, unconventional GSM Blend is testament to this. GSM is a historic blend with roots back to the Rhone region, a wine steeped in tradition.
On the nose, hints of dried flower petals, dried cranberries, fresh under ripe raspberries, black pepper, and mace lead the way. On the palate fine tannins carry fresh red and blue fruits, and earthy notes across the palate. Syrah brings a bit of brine and meat with fresh blueberries and a rich mid palate. Grenache brings texture and red fruit, and Mourvedre brings the dark red fruit and earth. This is a wine we're very proud to offer. An ode to old world elegance with a density that brings the Prisoner signature.
