2024 THE PRISONER CABERNET SAUVIGNON

The 2024 growing season unfolded under balanced, moderate conditions that allowed for exceptional flavor development and precise harvest timing across every vineyard site. Gentle extraction techniques were customized for each lot to preserve vineyard character while building texture and balance. Fermented and aged separately before final blending, the wine spent 16 months in French oak barriques, approximately 60% new, resulting in seamless integration, refined structure, and remarkable depth.

Aromatically expressive, the wine opens with layers of dark chocolate, cedar, nutmeg, clove, black licorice, and cola. Concentrated flavors of dried black plum, currant, and ripe black fruits are framed by warm baking spices, savory oak nuances, and a distinctive note of sweet graphite. Vibrant and elegant on the palate, it showcases exceptional freshness and perfectly balanced acidity. Fine-grained tannins sweep gracefully across the palate, building texture and complexity without heaviness, culminating in a long, persistent finish.
