WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE CELLAR

The winery is in the throes of harvest and is bustling with a variety of activities – both at the winery and in the vineyards. Onsite, we are bottling brand new 2022 reserve wines which enables us to make space for our upcoming vintage. Offsite, our Winemakers are busy in the vineyards checking the vines, the grape clusters and making final adjustments to ensure we achieve perfect ripening and flavor development.

In the cellar, we welcomed in our first grapes of 2024 with Sauvignon Blanc and Grenache. Harvest is a busy time and extra hands and returning faces are here helping us bring in the harvest. This is our favorite time of year, and we are thrilled. We are excited to taste grapes in the field, smell the fermenting wine in the cellar and the fresh oak in the barrel room. Everything is new again and we can’t wait to share it with you!

2022 Sliver Red Wine

The 2022 Sliver Red Wine shows an amazing deep purple hue in the glass. On the nose, hints of nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, toasted almond skin, maple, peppercorn, lavender and black cherry cola. The palate shows chewy and foundational tannins with anchoring flavors of sweet anise, blueberry, bramble fruit, vanilla, cookie dough, and pie crust.

This new vintage will bill on October 10th and ship on October 23rd.

2022 Dérangé Red Blend

2022 Dérangé Red Blend shows dark and silky in the glass with bramble fruit, dark cherry, craisins, spice and graham cracker on the nose. Tannins are soft and juicy on the palate and hold tension in the wine bursting with flavors of vanilla, toasty oak, and black sweet fruit, cassis and plum skin, accented by herbal notes of bay leaf and sage.

This new vintage will bill on October 10th and ship on October 23rd.

2023 Prisoner Red Blend, California

The most recognized blend in the valley, the Prisoner Red Blend is a creative blend of Zinfandel with the unlikely mix of Petite Sirah, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon as well as Merlot and Malbec.

In the glass, this full-bodied, opulent red reveals classic cranberry, blackberry, dried plum, caramelized vanilla,
nutmeg and toasted coconut notes on the nose. The palate has a soft mouthfeel and a smooth and luscious finish, perfectly balanced with red and black fruit and an integrated sweet spice.
