2023 HEADLOCK CHARBONO NAPA VALLEY
If you’re looking to be completely blown away by a wine, look no further than Charbono. Usually handpicked toward the end of harvest in mid-October right as tannins start to soften on the vine. The 2023 vintage commenced 3 to 4 weeks behind the previous 10-year average due to heavy rainfall and cold temperatures that lasted into April and May. This led to some anxiety around a late harvest, but we saw a long, mild summer that lasted well into October. In the end, we had amazing flavor development from this longer hang time, as well as beautiful color and phenolics that gave us perfect building blocks to craft perfectly balanced and delicious wines across the board.
Catch notes of dried cherries, cranberries, and pomegranate on the nose with subtle savory hints of roasted meat. These aromas are light and fresh out of the glass filling you with heady anticipation for that first sip. Along the palate, the mouthfeel is soft and balanced, and the finish lingers with hints of toasty vanilla.
2022 HEADLOCK CHARBONO NAPA VALLEY
The 2022 vintage was a challenging one with some major heat events just before
harvest. The old Charbono vines have seen a lot, and while there were a few
touch and go days, our Charbono held strong and stood up to the heat allowing
the wine to maintain freshness. Classic characteristics of black pepper, dried
cranberry, and nutmeg on the nose, and freshness on the palate display flavors
of red stone fruit, pomegranate, salted watermelon. Elegantly balanced with a
juicy mouthfeel that will pair excellently with summer barbeques.
2023 SOLDER GSM NAPA VALLEY
With an amazing deep purple hue, this wine
immediately captivates. The nose offers a tantalizing blend of nutmeg, clove,
cinnamon, toasted almond skin, maple, peppercorn, lavender, and black cherry
cola. On the palate, chewy, foundational tannins anchor vibrant flavors of
sweet anise, blueberry, bramble fruit, and vanilla, complemented by notes of
cookie dough and pie crust. Layers of brown and dark spices mingle with plum,
dried currant, black raspberry, and hints of blueberry, all lifted by a subtle
touch of orange liqueur. This complex profile creates a truly memorable and
indulgent tasting experience
2022 SOLDER GSM NAPA VALLEY
The 2023 Napa Valley vintage started late due to heavy rainfall and a cool spring, but a long, mild summer led to excellent flavor and balance in the wines. Careful picking and cap management ensured a soft, structured mouthfeel, with each vineyard block blended after aging in French oak barrels for 10 months. We’re excited to share these beautifully balanced wines from an outstanding vintage.

The deep purple hue of the 2022 Sliver Red Wine is visuallystriking in the glass.
