This mixed set of red and white wines from The Prisoner includes one bottle of Headlock Charbono, The Prisoner Red Blend, and Cuttings Cabernet Sauvignon.

Headlock Charbono
Sometimes it feels like winemakers are trapped inside their own heads. Every wine a silhouette of an earlier one, in an oenophiles' déjà vu. Not so for Headlock. We've escaped convention, fossilization, and flavor captivity with a blend of Charbono from the Calistoga, Petite Sirah from Lake County, and Syrah from Oak Knoll.

Black plum and blueberry aromas with inviting cinnamon and vanilla notes. The palate is full with soft tannins and a closely knit structure.

The Prisoner Red Blend
The Prisoner was inspired by the “mixed blacks” first made by the Italian immigrants who originally settled in Napa Valley. The Prisoner is now the most recognized Napa Valley red blend, leading the resurgence of interesting blends by incorporating Zinfandel with the unlikely mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Charbono.

Features enticing aromas of Bing cherry, dark chocolate, clove, and roasted fig. Persistent flavors of ripe raspberry, boysenberry, pomegranate, and vanilla linger harmoniously, for a smooth and luscious finish.

Cuttings Cabernet Sauvignon
Inspired by the age-old method of using cuttings from idyllic sites for the propagation of new vines, this Cabernet Sauvignon showcases some of our favorite hillside vineyards. Cuttings combines the deep, intense flavor of Cabernet Sauvignon with the structure and richness of Petite Sirah and Syrah. A small amount of Zinfandel adds a nice layer of complexity and spiciness.

Deliciously smooth with flavors of blueberry, dark cherry, and cocoa. Aromas of fresh roasted coffee, black currant, vanilla bean, brown spice, and wild berries.

80% Cabernet Sauvignon; 20% Blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Zinfandel
